HOW A TRAGEDY BECAME OUR LOVE STORY

Heather had a dear friend and colleague named Bob Ricci.  Sadly, Bob was diagnosed with cancer and it quickly claimed his life. Heather, along with Bob's sister Flora and Bob's older brother Joe and younger brother Mark were at his side when he passed away. Through this time of challenge and profound sadness, Bob's siblings and Heather became close friends. In helping to finalize Bob's affairs many long distance phone calls were received by Heather from Bob's sister and brothers. After a few months Mark began calling Heather  daily as a great friendship had evolved. The next summer, Mark asked Heather to plan a trip up to Kansas City for a much needed vacation. On August 13th Heather flew to Kansas City and the rest, as they say...  is history!
